Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst provides data analytics and decision support to category management teams across all stages of the company’s strategic sourcing and category management processes; supports tracking and quantifying ongoing supplier and vendor performance; and assesses the pulse of the market and vendor performance through a range of methods (i.e., benchmarking, inflation tracking, contract leakage analysis, KPIs, and performance reviews).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain supply chain performance metrics, reports, and dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess performance, and implement process improvements
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for optimization, such as lead time reduction and cost savings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies to support business objectives
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives and provide recommendations
  • Support the procurement process by analyzing supplier proposals, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Proven experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or procurement roles
  • Experience with supply chain software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn other work-related software
