As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems onshore team based in Midland, Texas, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

As a Field Engineer, you will be the key interface between our on-site teams and the client. You will work technically and professionally to ensure that equipment is installed, maintained, and started properly. By making innovative contributions to our future, you'll help create reliable, high-quality support for our customers.
 

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Collaborating with sales, engineering, plant, and field service teams to understand customer requirements.
  • Providing technical support, product development, and product modifications to meet customer needs.
  • Providing technical data and engineering information on products, services, and equipment to the sales team and customers, including giving technical presentations.
  • Making frequent visits to customer field installations across different states.
  • Conducting pre-installation site analysis, to observe and advise on proper installation of the product, and to examine any product issues.
  • Supporting the Field Process Engineer and Field Service Technicians on a daily basis.
  • Providing explanation of product manual procedures and site and circumstance-based technical review analysis.
  • Assisting in reviewing and developing of product manuals and procedures.
  • Collaborating with customers to acquire product needs, determine systems requirements, and recommend improved products or fittings to customers.
  • Preparing sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering data, and application trends.
  • Contributing to engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, including participation in preparation of five-phase analysis.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a bachelor's diploma from an accredited college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of relevant experience).
  • Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to influence teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to organize, assess, and prioritize tasks.
  • Be highly motivated with good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be a team player with a proven ability to think creatively and communicate at all levels.
