Partner with the best
Be a key player in the Baker Hughes business process organization. You will implement and improve a standard supply chain blueprint across the business. You will drive common processes, process improvements using lean principles, define standard metrics and institute a single face to the customer.
As a Supply Chain Operations Support Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Defining key value streams within operations that will have the greatest impact on global supply chain processes.
- Supporting implementation of the operating framework of the business units.
- Designing and driving common processes for supply chain globally.
- Engaging subject matter experts from the business and translating their needs to solutions with high impact to business and/or its customers.
- Training and assisting the product line Functional leads on processes, SAP transactions and other aspects of the blueprint.
- Owning the User acceptance testing and providing all the signoffs for key blueprint enhancements.
- Analyzing, developing strategies, and managing ERP changes resulting from acquisitions, legal entity, and roof top consolidation.
- Traveling up to 50% of the time globally, as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Have 5+ years’ experience in Materials, Sourcing, and /or Manufacturing.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong business process knowledge; experience with SAP and reporting tools such as Tableau.
- Proven ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functionally and globally.
- Deep understanding of both flow and engineered to order (ETO) businesses.
- Knowledge of lean principles and experience implementing best practices with proven results.
- APICS certification.
