As a Services Reliability Lead for FPS NAL, you will assume a pivotal role in upholding the dependability, availability, and efficiency of our FPS services delivery operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in overseeing a team of proficient engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement best practices, drive continuous enhancement, and optimize our operations for seamless project execution.
 

As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Leading, guiding, and training a team of FPS services reliability engineers (Field Engineers), cultivating a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Leading Assembly, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ARMO) team while supporting process improvement and maintenance planning.
  • Establishing and enforcing reliability standards, protocols, and optimal practices across our operations.
  • Developing and managing comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and response strategies to proactively detect and mitigate potential operational disruptions.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering teams to influence project design and layout, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Conducting thorough post-incident analyses, identify root causes, and spearhead the implementation of preemptive measures to forestall future occurrences.
  • Fostering good relationships with stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on operational reliability metrics, advancements, and strategies.
  • Leading the implementation of automation tools and frameworks to streamline operational processes and bolster system reliability.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within oilfield services reliability.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a related role such as applications engineering  
  • Demonstrate track record in oilfield services reliability engineering or similar roles, with hands-on exposure to incident management, monitoring systems, and alerts.
  • Have exceptional leadership abilities, coupled with the skill to mentor and motivate a team as well as experience in implementing and conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies.
  • Have a deep understanding of oilfield equipment and processes including software, data analysis, and predictive maintenance concepts, along with practical knowledge of drilling, exploration, production, or related domains.
  • Have excellent investigating, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
