Description

The Cement Sales role sells and markets the organization’s cement services to new customers; develops approved sales forecasts and territory sales plans; plans and participates in marketing events designed to attract new customers; and identifies opportunities to broaden the organization’s cement business model.

  • Develop approved sales forecasts and territory sales plans to ensure achievement of the organization’s projected revenues
  • Sell and market the organization’s cement services to new customers
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers within each potential customer’s organization
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop marketing plans and budgets
  • Plan and participate in local and regional trade shows, technical events, industry meetings, advertising campaigns, customer focused technical presentations, and provide entertainment
  • Identify opportunities to broaden the organization’s cement business model
  • Participate in relevant sales training opportunities
  • Support the Cement division as the primary sales representative for customer service and support operations
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Experience in a sales and marketing role preferred
  • Knowledge of cement products, sales protocols, and operations required
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry sales preferred
  • Outgoing and persistent, able to build professional relationships and successfully attain contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, can effectively interact with customers and personnel at all levels of the organization
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, able to interpret data to forecast and plan sales
  • Strong marketing skills, able to create memorable campaigns and events that attract customers
  • Personable, with a strong sense of professionalism
  • Organized with good time management skills
  • Proficient working in Microsoft Office 365 applications and able to quickly learn internal software
