As a In Process Solder Inspector, you troubleshoot, test and assemble electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.

As a In Process Solder Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Testing and qualifying new designs.
  • Receiving specifications and design constraints from the Team Leader, and handling special projects, as assigned
  • Conducting inspection of in-process electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with IPC-610 and 620 requirements.
  • Evaluating manufacturing documentation and coordinating with plant supervision and engineering for implementation of required updates.
  • Conducting quality training with the manufacturing floor including proper soldering and crimping techniques.
  • Evaluate and recommend updates on required standard completion times for assemblies.
  • Ensuring Baker Hughes quality policy is followed for all electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an Associate’s or equivalent technical degree/diploma plus at least a year of experience working in a similar role.
  • Have 5+ years of Electrical Assembly experience
  • IPC 610 or 620 Certification
